These are great for varmints. I have 4 NFs with the NP-2DD and would not switch. I have been told that the tapered reticle toward the center helps your brain focus on the center dot. My brain needs all the help it can get so I love this thing. With my old eyes it's also nice not to have too much clutter.

Special attachment?The scope with 2dd reticale is good for lots of hunting, deer with lower dot +4min elevation 300 zerro and 500 on my 7mmwsm
At twighlight longrange deer hunting the luminated dot is just stunningly sharp, really should not be allowed.
Only problem scope is heavy
