Now To Develop a List of Painters

I love the dyed Maple. Do you make stocks, too? I would love to get a nice hunting stock in highly figured quilted maple, dyed red, maybe with a bit of metalflake or pearl. The idea is "classic" blued steel, but with a wild-ass stock. And hell yeah I would take it hunting.
Mo I dont make them, trying to get my brother to teach me how to program and run cnc machine.
I too want a maple sporter for a hunting rig

In regards to the tan, blue and red dyed maple stocks...
Can that application only be done on a true wood grain stock?
Or can it be done on an fiberglass or composite stock as well?
Such as a McMillan A5, or a Manners ?
Thanks

i guess it could be done if you use a "marbler".. it would take some doing to get the "effect", but i guess it could be done

Dyes work for pulling out the variations in the wood grain.
For composites I use candy automotive finishes.
Although I'm in the middle of a laminate that I'm switching to automotive candy after clear primer.
Also doing a repair on the rootbeer stock thanks to an injury during shipping 123_1(4).jpegthe box was clearly marked fragile do not bend or crush. 123_1(2).jpeg

NEVER!!! Write fragile on a box! When I was in college I worked, loading trucks for ups. When some guys saw that written on a package, they took it as a challenge to see how hard they could toss it....

That job taught me a lot about over packing things to make sure they arrive the same way they left.

Customer claims my packaging is redundant!
I also stand behind my work, never in front of it. Especially rifles, or cars!
Now to sand down this glossy finish for clear, repair is done.20190609_090916.jpg

Or a vinyl template and an air brush dark to light on colors and candy it out to blend it all together. multiple trips from one end to the other.
