Novice F Class Shooter looking for help with 200gr Berger Hybrids

I am a novice F Class shooter looking for help with 200gr Berger Hybrids. I am looking to use RL 17 and would like a starting point for my reloads.

My rifle is a Blueprinted Rem 700 with a 26" Mid Palma Bartlein barrel.

Thank you in advance !!

Will this be for "F" OPEN? "F" TR? I see no reference to what cartridge you are using. 308, 300wsm, win, wby....etc

For most shooters and setups the 185 Jugg is a better option. In fact for less $$ the 178 Hornady is a good bullet, and I started out shooting 175SMKs. Better to spend your money on more bullets while you learn what is important.

I know of no competition shooters using Rx17, I know some who tried, but it's too temperature sensitive for summertime shooting. Its fine for hunting rigs that get used mostly in cold weather, but for loads that need to work at 73 in the morning, and 93 in the afternoon and sit in the sun all day, it's not a good choice.

Your rifle MAY NOT LKE RL-17!

Through testing various loads/powders, etc....it will eventually tell you what it likes!
