Nosler RDF 105 and 6BR?

I found a couple of threads from several years back, but nothing recent.
I recently came into 500 RDFs for next to nothing (about a nickel a piece). Anyone have any tips on where to start? Seems some people swear to jump them .030-.050, others say they wont shoot unless jammed. Is there a consensus now? Will be running on Varget and a CCI 450

thanks for any advice!

I had better luck jamming them- and when i say jammed im talking .025 in with about .002 neck tension so the ojives all hit together. They will show promise there but beware the random damn flyer if youre going to shoot them seriously. Also drop your load and work up, and dont open the bolt on a loaded round there

I shot them with Varget jammed at a square mark. They shot pretty good but required sorting into a lot of groups.

I can always find them local so I wanted them to work out sooo bad, but no luck. Recently sold the last of them in .22 and 6.5 caliber for cheap. The only ones I could ever get results with was the 70gr 22 caliber.

Since I started to weight sort them and with 0.012" of jump in 6BR with Varget they do much better. Crazy flyers are gone. There was a 0.9 gr variation of 250 sorted from 104.5 to 105.4 with a few even further out. One at 104.1 and two at 105.9. Flyers anyone. I still have 500 that I will weight sort and use at local 600 yd F-Class matches then probably won't get any more.

I have got the 105s to shoot pretty good out my 6 Dasher at 0.010 off the lands. I have a 1:7 twist. Going 3005fps also have got the 115s to shoot very well. I haven't seen the fliers like everyone else but I don't shoot benchrest. I use mine for NRA Prone at 600 & 1000. I also use the 70 and 85s for NRA XTC service rifle out of an 1:8 twist RRA. Have shot some crazy small groups during rapid fire at 2&300 yds. This all being said. I do shoot Barts gungnirs during competition but I wouldn't be scared to use the 105s.

6mmBRA - 7.5 twist Bartlein 5R with 30.8 gr Varget and jammed .009"... they have been good and I'm just using an old barrel for fire forming. I also had random fliers with these bullets out of a 6mmSLR. But not with the BRA at the slower speeds. I heard the first runs of the bullet had problems but I don't know if the new lots of bullets do.
