Nosler partitions

Depends on your rifle and load, including the bullet. It's not the bullet independent of the rest.

Are you loading in a factory chamber? What cartridge? Exactly which Nosler Partition bullet? Since you're using a Nosler Partition, you are hunting and want to use the magazine, right? Not single feed.

I load some for my TC Encore in 300RSAUM and started at around 10 off all the way out to 80 off and mine shot the best around 45 off. I can't jam in this rifle the break actions in my experience seem to get ALOT of vertical from having pressure on the back off the chambered round, but shoot well jumped.

Some rifles just will not shoot target accurate with partitions but will shoot good enough for most hunting situations. They are made to jump. From BAD EXPERIENCE you don't want to be anywhere close to the lands with hunting ammo. Bullets can pull forward being in the magazine when a round is fired or if measuring over all length from tip of bullet to base and not from the ogive to base you can stick a bullet in the bore when you go to unload it out in the field. I had a long walk to a tree stand and had killed a number of deer walking into the stand in the past so I was loaded up at the truck. When I got to the stand I unloaded the rifle to climb up. A bullet stuck in the bore and dumped all the powder down in the action. I did not have a cleaning rod with me and the whole days hunt was down the drain. Turned out that for some reason the new box of Speer bullets I had gotten had a shorter length between the ogive and the nose of the bullet. Instead of just being 1 thousand off the lands I was a few thousands into the lands. You live and learn from the school of hard knocks. >:(

In my experience Nosler partitions do not like max velocity or being pushed into the lands. 30 to 50 thous. off and sub max loads tend to hammer.
