Nosler Custom Brass

Is Nosler Custom Brass weight sorted to a total variance of .5 gr. or 1 gr. I have read it both ways.

,example # 1) +/- .5 gr.
,example # 2) =/- .5 gr.

I've been wondering the same thing, and just is this brass worth the money in general? I'm looking for quality brass for my 270 and 300H&H and since Lapua makes neither I've been looking at Nosler. Any pros/cons? Hope I'm not hijacking your thread.

My experience with the Nosler brass is that is very consistent dimension wise, necks are consistant all the way around. The heads of the brass are in my limited experience a little soft.
If you want extremely high quality brass for the 270 and 300.
RWS makes brass for the 270win and 375H&H that you could neck down to 300.
I am sure there are some guys on this forum that can vouch for the quality of RWS brass.
It is available here and yes it's expensive.

I thought I would post the link because I had trouble finding RWS brass searching the net.

I've only purchased Nosler brass for 7mm Mag and 22-250. I have been loading the 7mm Mag now for about 8 months. That brass is giving me some of the best groups and 500 - 600 yd. consistancy
that I have ever seen from a factory rifle. I have just gotten the 22-250 brass and done hardly any inspection to it. No loads as of yet. But on the surface it looks good to me. My weight range is within 1.0 gr. Hope this helps. Bill

I bought 100 rounds of 22-250 and am thoroughly impressed. Very consistent and no case prep necessary. Every bit as good as Lapua.
Neck runout of less than .002".

My experience with several calibers has been under 1.0 gr., most are with in .05. Very concentric and uniform
