Nosler .224 80gr. Custom Competition

Hello All, anyone shooting these? I had a reamer ground specific for the Berger 85.5 Hybrids and have combed the Earth in search of them with ZERO luck. I was working in Ohio and went to a gun shop and found these Nosler Custom Competition Bullets and purchased what they had, which were the only 22 bullets on a completely empty shelf. Either there are no LR Shooters around there or these bullets aren't desired.... Any thoughts appreciated, Thanks.

Been shooting them for years. Almost a carbon copy of the 80g Sierra Matchking. They have been surpassed by the high BC, heavier bullets now available (if you can find any). The Berger 80g class bullets offer a better BC, and now you have 85.5, 88, and 90, and 95g bullets from several other companies that are more sought after. Even Nosler has their own 77g and 85g high BC, RDF line that I've shot very well with.

The 80g CC will work just fine.

At 600 yards I have shot some pretty decent practice scores for highpower. They do have random ones that go off in the rhubarb though. At their best, they are close to the sierra but with random flyers

Can't be too choosy with the new Socialist America. Shoot what you can get.

I use them in my Barnard with 24.0 grains of H4895 behind them and they shoot better than the ones that come in that green box..
