Norwegian 30-06 ball ammo

I recently came across a few rounds of mil. 30-06 ball ammo with a headstamp A.Y.R. 56 which I traced to Norwegian manufacture. Cannot find any info as to whether or not this stuff is corrosive primed. Usually M2 ball post '53 is non corrosive, I just want to be sure before I feed this to my M1.
Thanks for any info.

I shoot tons of corrosive 7.62x39 ammo and best thing to do to neutralize the corrosiveness is to blast non corrosive ammo afterwards. At a brisk pace.

I shoot about 20 rounds of non-corrosive ammo at battle pace.

Works a million times better than trying to clean the crap out of the rifle/barrel.

Zero333, Thanks, sounds like a fun task.

A.Y.R. = A/S Raufoss Ammunisjonsfabrikker, Raufoss, Norway. If in doubt, treat the ammo as corrosive. If you have the time and means, pull the bullet and dump the powder from a round. Fire the primer only at a bare piece of steel and see if it rusts over the next few days. Clean your rifle with a water-based solvent in the meantime.

I bought 2 cases (1000rd wood boxes) of Danish manufactured Ball M2 15yrs ago. Some of the most consistently accurate Ball M2 I have ever fired. Berdan primed. Corrosive? I don't know as I cleaned my rifle promptly after every practice session. The Danish made M1 Rifle barrels and operating rods were top notch, too
