NORTH CAROLINA LONG GONG 22 MATCH SAT

Rowan Wildlife Club is having a 22 Long Gong match this Sat the 30th in Salisbury NC
Range will be 200 yards from concrete bench --must be shot with bipod and rear bag--targets sized for the range
10 shots in 90 seconds with multiple relays as time permits--This is the second one--First match was well run and a Lot of Fun! Contact Match director Patrick Shealy 704-791 6090 his email is shealypf@gmail.com
Register at 8 am --Match starts at 9 am give or take
Two classes--factory and unlimited

Dag, wish I had seen this before! How did the match turn out?

It was great! We had about 20 shooters--I had posted here so a gang from Western end of NC showed up with a pile of Modacam built stuff and they also brought a BUNCH of Skill! They were mean! They all rang that 3 target like a pinball machine. The match directors ran a smooth fair match--no issues--it went pretty fast--we wanted to shoot more relays but lots of folks wanted to head home being the holiday weekend so we quit at 3 stages
Lots of very skilled shooters were there--it was a Blast!!
They are talking about more matches there and adding some Long Gong at near by Piedmont Handgunners Club--weird name because they have many ranges and rifle ranges also-- At Piedmont in Linwood NC we shoot a 50 yd 22 bench match there third Sat of the month and then again the following Thursday--those are laid back fun matches--two cards per class--score only the best card--score your own targets, make your change out of the entry kitty when you register--a real change from the pressure of bigger matches
