Norma or Nosler 270 brass

Does anyone have any first hand experience with Norma or Nosler 270 Win brass? I need some new stuff, and was wondering how they compare with Winchester and Remington as far as consistency. I will spend the extra money if they have much less culls and less prep time.

Thanks for your input.

Michael

I actually have formed some 25/06 A.I. brass from Norma 270. The brass shoots just alittle better than my Winchester stuff, but the Norma dosn't handle stout loads as well as Winchester. Sorry I don't have any experience with the Nosler stuff.

I have no experience of the Nosler brasses but for my .270 I have always favoured Norma brasses.

For a hunting load they can be used straight out to the box...

I also have had better luck with Winchester brass when I wanted to push the envelope. Seems like the primer pockets loosen up on the Nosler brass much earlier than with the Winchester. Tom

I'll never buy Nosler brass ever again. I bought some 300Win Mag Nosler brass. there was a great deal of varience in the neck wall thickness. I contacted both MidwayUSA and Nosler. Midway said take up my issues with Nosler. I called Nosler and they admitted their 300 Win Mag brass had some problems. The never offered to replace the sorry brass with new brass. It was virgin brass and I paid a premium for it. I will never buy Nosler brass again.

I have since bought some Norma 22-250 brass that I fire formed into 22/250 AI brass. It shot great.

Thanks for the replys folks. Sounds like the Nosler is definately out. Will see how I feel about paying $1 per case for the Norma.
