Norma Dasher reamer specs? Keeping the pocket tight????

Phil

So, i`ve heard a little about the primer pockets loosening up...

I have no quam about reducing my load and fire forming the brass to MY chamber.

Would there possibly be some dimensions we could change on the reamer to make this brass keep it`s pocket tight??

I run .4714 @ .200 and .4609 @ the shoulder, do you think that tightening the .200 dimension might add to pocket life???

I`m really looking forward to running this brass at full length 1.605 + / -

I realize that changing dimensions would possibly dictate having custom dies made, that is NOT a problem here, the goal is to make the brass reach it`s full potential.

Lets Please not turn this into a bashing thread, we don`t need any more of those, and keep it constructive as far as case dimensions and the possibility of an improvement.

Obviously first hand experience with something like this is a plus.....

Thanks,

Phil.

dmoran would be a great source on this.
But I hold a new/unused finish reamer that is tighter (if you decide that way), and you're welcome to borrow.

.4708 and .460......interesting.

Have you chambered a rifle yet???
My reamer is the same as miker except my reamer is for the full length norma case trimmed at 1.598 an I have 18 firings with no failure but I run 2960fps that is the node my dasher wans to run no clicks at the top of bolt throw at 200 line I think this brass is better served at .4708 that is my opinion until someone proves me wrong.
