What is the reason that Shiraz (or Anyone) doesn't try to negotiate with Lapua for a dasher case contract ? I have been under the impression that Lapua was a smaller company then Norma, therefore more likely to "make a deal" with.
With the high price of tooling involved Lapua might not make a profit producing dasher brass. Lapua would cannibalise their existing 6BR sales - in other words they would either sell 6BR or dasher brass - one for one - with no profit for the trouble involved to do so.
I am guessing but I would bet that Lapua sells more 6BR brass than Norma. It makes sense for Norma to try to attract people that buy Lapua by offering "ready made" dasher brass for those averse to fireforming 6BR brass.
