Norma 6.5x284 brass question

Is there any difference with the Norma branded 6.5x284 case versus the Lapua case? I plan on getting some of this stuff, but was initially concerned when I read that certain cases do not fit well or or just a little bigger in the case head area in a 284 setup.

I shoot a 284 shehane.

My reamer was set up supposedly for Lapua cases.

I have used both and prefer Lapua for longevity.

Pick the brass then get the right reamer. If you already have it cut,go with whatever it was cut for but the PTG units we use are damn near identical.

usually, Norma brass is a bit softer than Lapua.

That was my impression also. But otherwise it is good brass. I didn't have any problems with it.

In my rifles I have had the same experiences as the others above have had. Decent consistency and all but wont last quite as long as lapua with the same load. Matt
