Norma 300 win mag brass question

Question about Norma 300 win mag brass.I ran it through full length size and the case head is still sticking out of my hornady case gauge .010

I am using Reeding dies.Do I need a small base die.I bought the brass used

Not if a sized case will chamber and the bolt of your rifle will close without resistance.
