Spot on Jon, I agree 100%jonbearman said:I dont care if it doesnt bother you.It bothers me alot. The government has interferred with every aspect of our lives to the point of many people dropping out of hunting where I live due to the cost of our license.California is so way left,I am surprised it hasnt fallen off the map and new york will be next.Think about it.The next thing they will do is limit and then outlaw copper as a waste of a semi precious metal. Then tin will be considered a poison. It will not stop.It is a snow ball rolling down hill.I dont want to pay barnes over inflated prices for their products.I would rather continue with copper and lead.
Glo,glo said:I watched the whole video. I'm sure Mr. Prieto is a great guy. The video was a full-on propaganda piece, with more half truths and innuendo then Carter had pills. I'm sorry this hunter has been used in this fashion. It would take me at least as long as the video was to counter the whole presentation.
If Mr. Prieto eats a great quantity of wild pig meat. He might want to get his kids checked for their pesticide concentration levels. Wild animals tend to have a much high level of pesticides within there systems then do store bought meat. Livestock for human consumption are highly regulated and tested for organic/non-organic poisons, pharmaceuticals, bacteria, virus, parasite, heavy metals and a whole bunch of other unpronounceable stuff. Wild meat may taste better then a steak from a Ralphs supermarket, but it's NOT a safer animal product. Sorry Mr. Prieto.
I've been using copper alloy bullets since A-Square introduce the monolithic solid in 1978. I think the X-bullet came along in the early 80's. Steel Shot has been around since the 80's. I've used all of them. I will only use Barnes bullets to hunt. That's my own personal chose. I don't need the government or their stooges in the medical field telling me what to do or use. I use what works best. If I'm going to spend $1,000.00, $5,000.00 or more on a hunt, I'm not going to let a bullet at 50 cents to a dollar bullet stop me.
Again I I don't need the government to tell me what to use!

If I were to shoot somewhere between 1000 rounds of year of all three .204, .224 & .243 bullets for the next 13 years I still wouldn't be completely out of Vmax, Amax & NBT varmint bullets. And that doesn't even start to take into consideration the various target bullets and hunting bullets.

So all those anti-gun, anti-hunting, tree hugging green efficiency far left nut jobs and politicians can just pucker up and kiss the lower potion on my southern ***. As I'm keeping my lead bullets, who know before they put my stinking ole
red neck butt in the ground I may need them to make one last stand at the Red River.

I do not like most of the laws we have, but what really bothers me is that so many people think we don't fight for our rights. I look for rifles to buy on several sites on-line and it really gripes me that some refuse to sell to us. Isn't that what the politicians really want, to make it hard for us to buy a rifle just because somebody doesn't want to take a few minutes to have his ffl checked out? It is the stupidest law on the books, but it is working as I bet 15% of sellers won't ship here. The study on condors and lead poisoning is also a one sided hoax. I quit watching 60 Minutes years ago because they only show their side of the story. The fact of the matter is, the western states will probably all require non-lead within 10 years. That might not be right, but I believe it will happen. Tom in Kalifornia
Are Canadians welcome? The lefties up here forced gun clubs in my city to close as a remedy to gang violence. Last month a ban was proposed on any type of ball in playgrounds in answer to someone being hit in the head with a soccer ball. City officials who think all handguns should be banned...even from our police?!!! ??? Maybe some of this nonsense is leaking through the 49th parallel?glo said:Rjin Texas, I am...ready to join you.
