At the Slidell, LA gun show today, there were exactly zero pistol powders for sale. Plenty of primers, though. Last year this time, it was just the opposite - plenty powders but few, if any, primers. At least around here.
There were some rifle powders for sale today, but no need for them.
This confirms my rule of thumb: Buy it when you see it, not when you need it because when you need it, you may not be able to get it.
