No Young Dogs Yet

Out last weekend in NW South Dakota, no young PD's seen as of yet.

See what next week brings.

Grandson & I went on a groundhog scouting trip yesterday in central Maryland. Saw the first young ones of the season. Will commence shooting in a week or two.

Same here Eddie,
Me and my father have always waited until the 2nd or 3rd week of May before we start in on them.
No sense in wiping out 5 or 6 future targets with one shot.

Small pups down to what looked like newborn just last week in OK panhandle.

We went to the TX Panhandle mid-April. No pups out at all so I know we went way too early. Funny thing was, we were there same time last year and pups were everywhere.
I hit WY last July and the pups were out in force there. That was a great shoot.

Leave the ones in Ok panhandle alone,I can't get up there till July.I would hate to find them all shot out,we always try to leave a few for seed,of course we leave more than we intend to.
