No turn neck for a 6.5x284

Can someone tell me what a no turn neck for a 6.5x284 would be using Lapua brass. This may be my first venture in the 6.5 caliber.

What I would do is call Dave Kiff at Pacific Tool and Gauge. Tell him what you are trying to do and he will tell you what you need..

.297 will give you a no turn minimum neck diameter.

Thanks thats what i was looking for. Im looking at a rifle that has a .290 neck and didnt know if i would have to turn them or not.

My reamer has a .298" neck for no-turn. Works out about perfect.

About a year or so ago, I talked to Dave Kiff about this very thing. He told me on a 6.5-284 no turn neck is .297"-.298".
