Nikon Monarch 800 Yard Rangefinder

Can anyone give me any info. on the Nikon Monarch 800 Yard Rangefinder? Will it work well at close ranges, such as during the archery for deer?

What color is the target indicator and numbers in the Nikon range finder. I bought a Lecia 1200 range finder, however, the target indicator and numbers come up in a light red or green and I can't see it. I am color blind when those colors come up against a background. I need a black indicator or the color that is used in the Swarvoski.
