I am thinking of purchasing a Nikon Fieldscope ED 25-70 with 80mm objective. Kinda heavy at 68 oz. Has anyone purchased one; if so I would like to hear opinion as to how well it discriminates 6mm bullet holes out to 600 yds. Of course, few spotters will perform well in high mirage or extreme weather conditions. Would like to compare it to my ancient Leica Televid 77, which is getting long on tooth.
