nikon black x 1000

i was looking thru a nikon black x 1000 6x24 today, sore of like that it's a sfp and the reticle and clarity was nice, guy said i can shoot the gun, was not on target, he said go ahead and adjust it, first thing i did not care for was how easy the turrets turned and they are not locking type, so this scope is out of my decision, curious if anyone has looked thru or owns the bushnell Engage or any of the upper end optics, i see they have locking turrets and get good reviews, i definitely want to stay with a SFP scope and min 24x, how do the bushnell compare to the nikon fx 1000 for bright and clarity.

You might want to look in to the Meopta Optika 6 4.5-27x scopes. I think some are going to be SFP and they might make them with a locking turret.

It might be a wait, I don't think Meopta has delivered those yet.

I have a Nitrex scope that's an off brand Weaver Super Slam and it has locking turrets, I like it. Bushnell LRTS and Tract Toric 30mm also have nice locking turrets but a bit more expensive.

I haven't tried the Engage.
