Nightforce Warranty??

Hi!

I want to know if NF:s warranty is bound to the scope or tho the first owner?
Is the warranty similair to the leupolds warranty? Anybody tha can explain this to me?

I believe the warranty is bound to the scope....as long as it was purchased from an approved dealer and registered. I know they did not stand by the lifetime warranty when a big on-line outfit was selling them below "MAP" pricing....thus violating the terms of being a dealer.

Guess if you can get the serial number...if you're thinking of buying a used scope...you could call NightForce and see if the scope has been registered for the warranty.

just send it back they will fix it no matter of who owns or or where it purchased.I bought 2 used with no problems.

I called NF last year and told the nice lady that I bought the scope used, and had tracking problem. She never hesitated nor asked questions, simply said "send it in and it will be fixed". About 10 days later, it was in my hands again, and they paid the postage. Great service. Compare this to the March warranty!!

Ok. But what's the deal with one have to register the scope?

Based on my experience, I don't think its necessary, but suit yourself.

Only difference is the March wont shift point of aim and cost you a record target.
