NightForce scope problem-image adjustment

Hello,
I have returned my 5 x 22 NF scope to the factory for adjustment, and decided to use my 8 x 32 on the rifle I use for tactical competition. I immediately realized this scope, when sighting it in, was superior as to parallax and the image was clear and sharp and so was the reticle.
I went out today to check the 500-600-700 scope adjustments. I noted some problems dealing with the image clarity. I realized that at 200 or 700 yards, the image was the same, and did not change, when adjusting the knob. i have not had this problem before,I called NightForce immediately upon getting home and find they are gone from Today till Tuesday for the holiday.
Great! This is a repair I would do myself due to the closeness of the next match if I could. I want to use this scope on this rifle and need to practice for all these distances because "real winds" blow here at 6,500 ft. and I am still getting used to this bullet/cartidge combo.

Thanks,

Gene So

Are you saying the parallax knob (focus) of your 8-32 doesn't appear to do anything when you turn it? If so, hopefully it might only be an adjustment issue. You might try the following: Set the mag at 8X and adjust/optimize the parallax for a object on which you can see some fine features (lines, edges, etc.), preferably at a distance of 500 yd or greater. Now turn the mag to 32X. The object should become blurry. If adjusting the parallax knob does NOT bring it back into focus, chances are it's an issue that can only be properly addressed by NF. If the parallax knob DOES bring the object back into focus, then you need to work with the scope a bit more to determine its handling/focusing characteristics. The apparent (to your eye) effect of the parallax knob becomes less as the distance decreases. It also becomes less as the magnification decreases. Between these two, it's pretty easy to get the impression something may be wrong when, in fact, it's really just an an adjustment issue. Hopefully this is what's happening in your case. If not, I'd let NF handle it next week...not much else you can really do. Good luck.
