Nightforce scope markings?

Is there any difference between Nightforce benchrest scopes with the lettering in white as opposed to gold lettering? I've seen them both ways and thought that maybe some are early models or what.
Can't seem to find any definitive info on the net anywhere.
Anybody know for sure one way or the other?

For those who have the older NF BR with the gold lettering, and if the numbers are getting hard to see, especially in poor light, it may be nothing more than a buildup of dirt, carried from your fingers over time. I had the problem & was able to use a wood tooth pick to clean the dirt out from the engraving, uncovering the original bright & easier to see gold numbers & hash marks. The gold lettering is surprisingly very durable & I had no damage when cleaning. A small amount of "Simple Green" on a rag also cleaned nicely.
