Nightforce Power Ring Knob prevents bolt from opening - Help!

I just installed a Nightforce 12-42x56 benchrest scope on my custom Stiller Viper right bolt left port 6 Dasher with Kelby rings. When the power is turned to 42x the bolt will not slide back because it hits the knob on the power ring. Is there a simple fix for this?

Move scope forward?
Higher rings?

had the same problem with a bat action.solved the problem by putting on a sightron 10-50x60. clears just fine

A common problem with some receiver/ base & ring combinations. A friend had the same problem with his Stolle Panda. Sent the bolt to Kelbly & they made a relief cut on the bolt handle. Did an outstanding job & problem solved.

Try sliding it foreward or backward (backward I think) a little,to gain some space. Lightman
