Nightforce NXS with 1/8th MOA Adjustments

Hi all,
A while back I heard that Nightforce were going to offer their NXS range of scopes with 1/8th (0.125) MOA adjustments in addition to the current 1/4th (0.25) MOA adjustments. And possibly available this month (?). Has anyone heard any more on this? Thanks for your help.

I called Nightforce a few months ago about 1/8 MOA clicks on the NXS and they said sometime this year. The guy did not have a date or any pricing. He did say that if you currently have a NXS, you can send it in to have the 1/8 moa clicks installed. Again, no price on that.

Don't want to highjack someone else's thread or change the topic, but how much better are the NXS scopes compared to the BR models?

No problem deadlyswift. The BR are also truely excellent scopes. I however have used NXS scopres for FClass for 7 years now and would like to stay with NXS on an upgrade to a 12-42x56; but this time a 1/8th MOA when they come available. I like the side paralex adjustment & turret nobs of the NXS.

Just talked to NF. about the 1/8 min. adj. cost will be 320.00 rect. change went to 250.00. The 1/8 min. change will start this fall......jim

What Nightforce needs to do but won't is put the NXS type large external adjustment knobs on the BR scopes. They however turn a deaf ear toward this request.

I believe that the reason they don't put "tactical" turrets on the BR Series is because:

Tactical scope gets tactical turrets
BR scope gets target turrets
Could it be that the tactical turrets won't work on the BR Series tube ? I don't know

Don't know about anyone else, but I'm perfectly happy with the target turrets, with the screw-on caps, on my 12-42x BR's and the 8-32xBR. ;D

I'll be happy when all 3 of my NP2-DD NXS's have 1/8th inch clicks....
I hate it when I need to move over 1/4 inch at 300 yards and end up moving 3/4" the way they are now ;D

I'll just be happy to get my first Night Force BR! ;D I was able to look threw a NXS, and a BR this weekend side by side. Peacher is right the BR is more clear. With the BR being more clear, and already having 1/8 clicks this will be the way I go. With that said. I do love the tactical turret knobs, but I can live with screwing on and off the caps, for the price difference.

I have both and i can not see any difference. I do like the longer eye relief NXS,but the 1/8 min. would help at long range. Both are very clear and sharp and i can live with the 1/4 min for now and the NXS is shorter and lighter.......jim

I emailed Nightforce; they are saying at the end of this year. So .... I guess early next year will be able to get a 0.125MOA click NF NXS

I went and meet up with Bill Shehane 2 weeks ago this pass Mon. to pick up my rifle. He is a NF dealer. While chatting with him I asked if he New when the NXS 1/8 clicks would come out. His estimate was Spring of 2011 before they hit the market as to being able to find them readily available.

E-mailed NF. again, this time they told me they have not made the parts needed to make the 1/8 min.clicks and they don't have a price. they said it would come together the first of next year...........jim
