Nightforce F1?? -- Caution re Possible Counterfeit

None of my NF scopes say "Made in U.S.A." in front of the turret.

It would be interesting to get the serial number and call NightForce and see if this is a counterfeit scope.

I found a few other pics of this scope out there and the "Made in U.S.A" is not on them. They also sold for 2,300 new. The one on GunBroker is used so I wonder if the extra zero is a typo and it's really 1K.

I have a couple 2.5-10's that are made in USA, but none of my bigger stuff.

For $1000? that would be a really good deal....

Are you saying that the smaller ones do say "Made in U.S.A." on them in front of the turret?

1,000 is good unless it is counterfeit.

The Start Pice/Fixed Price and the Buy Now are both $10,000, don't think you could make that typo, twice......thinking he thinks it's made of GOLD.

This scope is a one of a kind,made with a platnum relucter tube and the adjustment springs are made out titanium with 1 carat diamonds for the pivot points and the lenses were made by carl zeiss himself from melted down diamond coated with 24 carat gold and the main tube is made from inconel coated with carbon from king tuts tomb and the adjuster knobs are made from black rhino horn with a binder of space shuttle heat shields and was originally owned by john f kennedy jr. Wait maybe Im dreaming. LOL LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No its different,its a 5.5x22 and the first pic shows the adjustment knobs and the second pic shows the adjustment knobs and it now says nightforce on the knob with the power rating,next pic shows no ring marks,next pic shows ring marks. Something is weird about this ad as well. Maybe someone can look at it and enlighten me.

The two pictures are of different sides. The scope was flipped 180. That is what is throwing you. Not that this is any better than the last one that didn't sell. After he refused to give the serial number, I don't trust him.

The 2.5-10 say "Made in USA" on them.... Not sure about the other ones. My 12-42s are made in Japan.....

He had both scopes for sale at the same time, I had as always checked to see what else he had for sale,
seems to of pulled the $10K one.........after marking it down to $1!

After his cheesey reply I'd call BS also, some of the GB sellers have it down pat on scamming you out of your cash, this guy is just starting.

Those are different scopes. The F1 has zero stop and the 5.5-22 is a non zero stop. The zero stop scopes have a bevel on the turrets and the non-zero stop scope turrets are flat.
