Nightforce direct mount on savage la

Savage long action flat back, want to mount nightforce direct mount,
Scope is nightforce hsv 5x20x56 30mm tube
1" medium mount should be high enough once trimmed
Rear of mount ground flat front ground to suit.
Long actions
Savage screw .86-4.63-.86
Remington .86-4.48-.60
Would like to go to heavier screws or pin
Any thoughts or potential problems
Come to mind ?
