Nightforce ATACR F1 7-35x

I know it's a reach, but has anybody here got there hands on the new Nightforce ATACR F1 7-35x scope? I just got the 5-25x last season, but I really wanted something with more magnification. I'm curious how the glass holds up in terms of clarity and definition.

Haven't seen the new ATACR yet but I did get to play around with the new S&B 5-45x56 (in Australia, not at SHOT show). That was impressive but vastly more expensive than the NF.

I was looking at them both... The NF and the S&B..... just amazing. I am a NF man myself but wow!!! A 7-35x with a 100 MOA of elevation.... AWESOME. I missed SHOT this year or else I'd be able to tell you a lil about it/them

I called CSTactical for pricing, and received a lousy response about the pricing going up in the new year. I asked what changed between the 2016 inventory and the 2017 inventory, and he told me Nightforce changes their pricing each year. I'm sure they'll get more money as a result, but not more of my money.

Almost every company does that. Glass has been going up 10 to 15 percent a year for a long time. I can tell you what most shops do. I bought a box of 338 Lapa brass and paid a little under 200.00. The next week a came back and was going to buy another box. The price was now over 220.00. I asked what happened and they said a new shipment was sitting there on the bench and it went up. I said they are the same 2 boxes that sat there last week. They wouldn't drop it either. Matt
