Listing for a friend who owns an LGS I frequent. He does not have a large precision shooting audience, most customers are hunters, shotgun sports folks or maybe 3 gun sports folks. Not necessarily the kind of folks who would a have a use for this kind of scope.

He took it on trade from a customer he knows. The customer bought it from someone who obviously used it. The customer never mounted it himself, he traded it for a Swarovski hunting scope that he coveted. He says that it was sent to Nightforce before he bought it to insure that it was in good shape. It was. There are some marks on the AO and some on the tube. Looks like it might have been mount the first time with the rings not tight enough so it slipped. Looks like the FCR-1 MOA reticle. Has the sunshade.

Asking price is $1200.

Someone asked why I didn't buy it. If I'd run across it two weeks earlier I would have. I just mounted a Sightron 10-50x60 on my Anschutz BR rimfire. I've owned one of these Nightforce BR scopes before and ran it in F Class. The glass on this scope is better than the glass on the Sightron. In my opinion the glass on these BR scope is some of the best around and I've owned most of the best at one point or another.

A picture of the information end of the scope box tells everything. So we know what the reticle is??? It is a older scope because of the Gold writing. It is not a FCR-1 reticle.

I can not find this mag scope 12-46x56 br listed anywhere on the web just 12-42x56 br am i missing something

If you enlarge the picture, you can see it is the standard 12-42X56 NF BR scope. I also agree that the correct reticle is printed on the box, as long as the box is the original box to the scope.

I'm betting the reticle you are referring to is the NP-R2, only 2 available, the other one is the NP-2DD, hope this helps but you should really show a picture of the end of the box. JMHO
Oh, it should be a 12-42 (not 46)X56

So when the customer who traded for the Swarovski sent it to Nightforce said it came back in a different box. It looked like the FCR-1 MOA reticle to me. I can run by on Tuesday and see if I can capture a picture of it.

I'll try to capture a pic of the reticle. Like I said, the box is not the original according to the customer who traded it. Could be the NP-R2. Definitely not the NP-2DD. I've had these scopes in the past myself and had the same reticle.

Not a good pic. Inside the store while proprietor held white paper in front and I tried to hold my cell phone camera steady enough to grab a pic whilst holding the scope steady on top of the box. It is the NP-R2.
