Night Force vs Schmidt & Bender

Which one has the better class? The S&B has Schott glass, what about the NF? Any pro's and con's are appreciated.

I have both and like them both. Schott glass doesn't really mean jack! It's the coatings and how it's speced out. Low glass is good with the right specs. Pick the one with the Reticle and features you like. Look through them all.

Great advice - I think that I am gong with the NF 10x42x56 as I don't see allot of advantages with the 10x55x52 for the 100-300 yard ranges that I normally shoot.

Thanks

We can all agree that good glass is nice and the only down side is price. But, for short range BR shooting, you can get by with a bit lesser quality glass. What you can't get by with is any reticle movement. Good glass shines most in poor conditions and we don't often have that at a match.
Short range is still the pinnacle of rifle accuracy.(flame suit on) and those are what I see most of at the top.
My first scope was a t36 weaver prior to moving up to a NF. Honestly, where I found the biggest difference was on the drive home, not during the match. This is NOT to take away from buying the best glass you can afford but I'd put the tracking of a NF or March above all others. This also disregards a bad scope, as they all make one at times.
