night force parallax adjustment

I want to know what are advantages and disadvantages between
side focus parallax adjustment,NF series) and adjustable objective located on the front objective end,NXS series).

I have two NF scopes both with side focus parallax. I would not get a front focus because I shoot F-Class with both of these rigs. The NF scopes are as long as a Volvo truck muffler and you mess up your bag/rifle setup too much with a front focus. That being said, some friends of mine shoot the BR model and would not shoot the NSX....Go figure...

Well to start with the BR has 1/8 inch clicks against the NXS scope that has 1/4 inch clicks.
Most people will say that the BR's AO is easier to adjust than the NXS is.
The NXS has to be returned to the beginning ever time you change distances you just can't twist it a little to fine tune it where you can with the BR.

The BR is usually a bit clearer than the NXS.
As far as length goes the BR is only 1 1/2 inch longer than the NXS not what I would call a HUGE difference.
Some reticules that are available in the NXS are not in the BR.

1/8 inch clicks VS 1/4 inch clicks..... Which is best at long range say 800 to 1000 yards?????

If you shoot at one distance, then it doesn't really matter. Right?

But if you shooot at all distances, forget BR scopes. Don't even consider anything but an NXS & side focus in this case.

So is side focus parallax same as Leupold, because NXS has to be returned to the beginning ever time you change distances.
is a big difference betwen Leupold side focus parallax
and NXS?

I have never had to turn the parallax dial on my NXS back to zero when adjusting it up or down for parallax. I've had to turn it back to zero on all of my MK4 Leupolds, but not on my Nightforce NXS. The NXS side focus parallax system does not seem to have the backlash that is inherent in Leupolds.
