Nice Way to Spend the Afternoon

That looks like fun. We dnt have those sorts of rodents doen here . So it's either shooting foxes ,ferals cats or as I do spend most nites out shooting kangaroos for pet meat .
Hey Seagull, my Sis and Bro in law live over there (Perth) but I guess it's such a freakin city that there's not much shooting sports.

My brother in law was avid hunter and like a mentor to me when I was growing up over here, but doesn't even own a gun over there. He seems sad about it, and I'm sad for him. He and I have shot somewhere around 1.5 bazillion ground squirrels over here, and used to get free ammo to do it with on the ranch where he grew up.

Where are ya at over there? jd

In Perth at the moment got an unload booked in for in the morning . Need to unload 57 roos so that's about 1.5ton of meat and 11 maggot taxis (sheep). Then will head back south east in Sunday back to where I'm contract shooting for a few farmers. Fuel and accommodation supplied

Sure, that subject comes up from time to time.
It's my BR Pivot Lite shown in the pic below. I designed and produced it back in the late 90's, advertised it in The Varmint Hunter Magazine, Rifle Magazine and Rifle Shooter for a decade before selling the patent and manufacturing rights to Battenfield Technologies (Midway USA) in 2007.

Two versions of it are still available from MidwayUSA; their el cheapo version is their 'Stable Table' with a too small bench top, no leveling adjustments and an all steel version of the original BR Pivot. Both are produced offshore now, but the BRP they offer is pretty much faithful to the original, sans all the alloy parts we used to make the assembly much lighter. Apparently, the ChiComs are unable to produce fine quality alloy (T6) porosity-free castings. We used a Boeing Aircraft casting facility when we had the bench in production.

There are still some originals of both models available used on occasion, but I seldom see them for sale, as I'm told they're like looking for chicken lips, as once obtained, they seldom come up for sale.
I have the el cheapo. I either need to make a bigger top or get the more expensive one. My rifles are seriously half an inch from the bipod falling off with the spigot mount.
