Wish I was video taping as I was walking 80yds behind my pal, a coyote trots up in front of me and walks right behind my pal. He never noticed as he was stalking another coyote. All I could do is watch, that dog was less than 6 feet following him. Pal was so locked on the one he was stalking he never knew.
My pal sat to get on the dog he saw, I set up 80yds back. That coyote went so close to him I thought it was going to bite him.
It never noticed me, but as it finally went about 50yds from my pal in no hurryI got on it and dropped it. Pal did drop the other one as it turned to look in our direction at my shot.
Never had a coyote ever follow a person so close it could bite.
