NF Scope Covers

Does anyone manufacture screw in scope covers for NF NXS scopes, specifically 8-32X56? I mount my scopes near the barrel, which renders the rubber bikini type furnished with the scopes useless. Thanks.

I don't believe the eye pieces are even threaded on the NXS models. You may want to consider the Butler Creek caps. I've used them on my BR models. You usually can find them for as low as $6 ea.

They are threaded, sunshades screw in. I like the screw in style and used them on Leupolds. Only went NightForce to get the convenience of zero stop.

I left the threaded original dust covers for my 12-42 on the bench after a match, and they were never returned. Contacted NF and they referred me to Midway where I was able to order them. Give Midway a call.

Thank You. I will give Midway a try.

I just checked and they say these covers will only fit BR models. I'll measure my 12-42 BR and the 8-32X56's to see what it looks like.

I agree the objective lens is threaded, since they have sunshades. But, is the eyepiece threaded as well?

The BR's and the NSX's take different screw in covers.....
Thanks. Yes I measured and see that what Midway sells won't work. Any suggestions? I really would rather not use BC flipups, although I do use their Blizzard see through models on my deer hunting scopes. Nice to keep the lens covered when snowing and still be able to see when necessary.

When a close to the barrel scope is used, I will cut the bottom out of the BC caps and glue them on, or use electrical tape if needed..

Sounds like a plan. Hope all is well with you and yours Preacher!
