Newcon range finders

I had one for a while till I found a used 7x42 Geovid.. It was made in Canada and worked just fine for what I needed it for.. the $2500 Geovid works better...

I have a 2000 I believe and its heads and tails above my old Bushnell 1000, which isn't saying much. I think the Leicas are better on non-reflective for sure. I usually take them while I set my targets and range back at my vehicle windshield. My battery dies fairly quick and I don't care for the access cover to the battery. Most often I use my Swiss optical. Its too heavy to take on a walk, but its gorgeous, always works, and dosen't need batteries. The Geovids are on my list when I have to burn up some money.
