It is I suppose.

For target shooting, varmint hunting, and western hunting rifles, I prefer more power as do most other people with the same types of rifles.

For close quarters brush hunting and AR style plinking, most people are happy with 3-9x or less.

So for me personally 3-15x and 4-16x are right in the middle of nowhere I need to be.

Just my personal opinion. Nothing more.

Works for the AR Tactical class if the turrets are repeatable, and at 19 oz I’ll be all over one for a hunting scope

(edit) I just went and looked at the specs on the scope. This is what I think is about the perfect hunting scope. It has enough magnification for reasonable hunting ranges it has a reticle that will allow holdovers and isn’t some silly BDC that fits nobodies ammo. It has a 42/44 sized objective that lets you get a decent cheek weld without having an adjustable stock . I doubt if he remembers it, but I know I have asked Ian why Vortex didn’t make it at least twice in the last five years.
