One of the happiest days of my life when my then 10 y.o. daughter said to her horse obsessed mother "mommy, I don't like horses, they are just big and smelly". Unfortunately her mother has over compensated for her now grown daughter with a stable of horses and an expensive fox hunting habit. Oh well! How does it feel to be owned by a horse?
Boats and Horses.
The two happiest days in a mans life..............
When they buy one and when they sell one!
I know, I've H A D both!
What , no camper ?
Oh, get me started on motorcycles! My son now has my last dirt bike, a YZ250 with a wide ratio gearbox. I raced dirt bikes seriously, motocross, hare scrambles and cross country for many years. Kawasakis first and then Yamahas...actually I may have written about that on these forums previously. Raced against some of the best. Had some truly spectacular crashes and tied some bikes in knots. Couldn't ride dirt bikes anymore so took to pavement, after two big crashes the wife said "no more." And she's right I'm almost in a wheel chair now, my body can't withstand any more damage. Always had to push the limits, find the ragged edge and then ride beyond it.So, you buy daughters horses and sons motorcycles?
Glad I have boys
Grew up with lots of horse people, but never took to them. Preferred to be on a dirt bike or a 3 or 4 wheeler.
Kidding aside, looks like she'll be living the good life. Thanks for sharing.
