New to the board

Hi: I'm Bryan Armatys, and some of you may know me as the maker of Zia Bullets. I've sold that business to Bart Sauter and now make case maintenance trimmers and sell some wind flags. Enough of that.
I have a Neil Jones powder measure and am having difficulty with getting it to drop accurately.....I have a variance of .20 to .25 grains. Any suggestions on the best way to cycle the handle to minimize that?
Also, Who is that Stephen Perry guy?:D
Sorry, Steve.....I couldn't resist

Bryan is not telling the truth the brain and muscle behind ZIA bullets has always been his lovely wife Karen. She sold everything to Bart so she could have more time for herself. Bryan just measured bullets and swept up the scrap.

Stephen is HALF right. Karen was in charge of the .224 bullets, and I rarely if ever swept the floor. You should see it now! Brass chips, Delrin chips, the occasional beer bottle cap, and untold other gradoo.
I was going to clean it today, but I only have 3 weeks to get ready for the "Best In The West" Memorial Day match in Raton, and the .22 Short rifle is not quite ready.

Hi Bryan,

I have a Redding measure. I noticed a great increase in throwing accuracy when I left the throwing handle in the dumping position between charges. I use a count when filling the dump tube so that the measure fills for the same length of time for each charge. Some powders may not throw very well. Varget is a terrible powder to throw.
