Hello experts. I'm just getting into the world of reloading. I know I picked a heck of a time, but have been able to scavenge most the parts and supplies to make it happen. so far I've just done some straight wall pistol, but now want to get into reloading for my rifle cartridges. The first victim will be my Tikka T3 in 300WSM. I have some once fired cases, CCI primers, some Hornady ELD-X 200 grain projectiles, and for powder, I was able to get some Accurate 2700, and a family member gave me some XMR4350. I know the Tikka has a 1:11 twist, and the ELD-X units indicate 1:10, however, those are what Hornady uses in the Precision Rifle Hunter factory load in 300WSM and I've had good success with shooting that bullet. I'm wondering if you guys would have any recommendations on initial loading starting points, powder selection between those two, and any other good bits of info for this newbie. Once I shoot through these loads, I can consider a different bullet too, but as we all know, sourcing components is tough right now, so I don't have the luxury, ability, or $ to just blind try a bunch of different loads. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
