New to reloading, need help with 7.5x55 Swiss Data?

Looking to load for my K31, I want to use Barnes 175 grain match burners. I have a ton of inherited H4895 on hand and would like to use this well.

According to Hogdons website minimum loading for a 180 grain bullet is 37 grns with a max of 39, but again this is for a 180 grain bullet. My question is how much of a difference will the bullet weight make for the load data? Is their listed 180 grain data enough to use for my 175 grain bullets?

I believe that most reload in that range. The true bullet size is 305 - but the 308 is nearly always used for obvious reasons. S&B make factory ammo and are the normal supplier of brass The K31 has a following in NZ - and the Swiss rifle club have a range not so far from my house.

European bores are specified by the diameter across the lands whereas the U.S. are measured across the grooves. Thus the difference between the two.....6.5mm = 0.2559" (6.5 X 0.03937) the actual bullet diameter is 0.264".

You can interchange the data if you are planning to shoot a lighter bullet than the bullet the data is for but you cannot use the data if your bullet is heavier than the listed data bullet.
