My new range is about ninety minutes away. According to my shooting buddy's GPS system, we can shoot just over 2900 yards. It also comes with Rockchucks.

Not all of us! Frankly, my TRG42 is my favorite rifle to shoot. Nothin' like sending 300 grains way out there!

Frankly, my 550 Gibbs is my favorite rifle to shoot. It goes to Africa with me.

92 gns Retumbo, 300 gn pointed/coated 300 gn Berger, Lapua brass, Federal 215 primer. We shoot out past 2,000 yards a few times a year at the Whittington Center with a small bluff as a backstop. Usually nothing but 338s on the line. I am shooting an Accuracy International PSR with a Thunderbeast can.

Hey Germanlongbow,
I'm from Wisconsin as well and would be very interested in finding places >1500yds to shoot since I got a new 338LM that needs to stretch it's legs. Any suggestions on who I would have to bribe would be greatly appreciated. The only 1000+ range that I'm aware of is Lodi and I'm a member there.
