Been wanting to add one of these for quite sometime.Then a long comes a pristine one.Know it's not a Winnie or Remmi or an Annie.But it's one hell of a Mossy.

Congratulations, that is a great looking rifle. Those are a very under rated rifle, they shoot great.

I have a 142A (carbine with the fold-down forearm) that was my first rifle, it has had tens of thousands of rounds through it and will still shoot 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups at 50 yardwith any decent ammo.
It is 69 years old now and is in the hands of my grandson.

Years ago I did a home gunsmith shim on the trigger to get a lighter pull and it has performed flawlessly.

Peep sights....hand stop/sling rail......in the right hands, these rifles will hang with an Anschutz, and cost a lot less.....very nice rifle.....
