I just picked up SW22 Victory 22LR from S&W.

This gun is a great target, has good trigger, shoot great off hand. Zeroed the red dot at 50 yds. I have around 400 rounds thru it now. I put some different ammo thru it today. CCI standard and Mini mags, Win HV 1300 f/s, Fed HV match, Win bulk, and Fed bulk. Everything ran. but I had 2 round fire and eject just a few inches, and did not pick up a round from the mag. I have seen this with other gun, with this ammo and Fed. auto match.

The Fed HV match shot best at 50 yds. 10 shots under 1.5" All but 2 are in 1 inch.

Standard was next just 10 shots just over 1.5" at 50 yds.

Great review and pretty much my experience when I shot one. It's a very interesting model of modern engineering too. BTW, I love how easy it is to break this thing down for detailed cleaning.

Nice new gun. I have heard 2 reports that the screw holding the barrel on was loosening during firing did you notice any of that?

My screw has remained tight for 500 rounds. I called S&W today to ask if there was a torque spec. for the bolts. they said no, just not too tight or too loose. That came from the the person answering the phone, I would say there is torque spec. for the bolt. I would say some guys are not putting enough torque on the screw. The price is $409 retail around $375.00 in most places.

Good to hear. Hopefully S&W will be successful, glad you are enjoying yours.

I would much prefer if S&W cut slots in the rear sight base so an optic could be mounted with QD rings and removed quickly to switch from range to hunting/carry. I dont like swapping the bases. It looks like optics were an after thought. It 'looks' attractive and this is a great report. Seems worth consideration.

How is the trigger? Adjustable? Pull weight or range of adjustment?

My trigger is around 3 lb. it is not adjustable. Trigger kits are coming. I am good with mine.

I picked up one of the Victory .22's a couple of weeks ago, have only had the opportunity to take it to the range one time. I put a couple of hundred rounds of various brands of ammo through it and it functioned very well, nice weight, good sights and is undoubtedly far more accurate that I'm capable of shooting it. The Victory replaced a Ruger 22/45 that I never shot, simply because the disassembly and reassembly is an exercise in frustration. The Ruger is gone to a new owner, the Victory now occupies the space left vacant.
