For all new prone shooters looking for a spotting scope stand for reading the mirage. Found this great bipod spotting scope stand made by Opticron model 40315. It’s made of aluminum and holds my Kowa 661 with ease. It’s rated for a total of 4.4 pounds. The stand I bought has a ball and socket pan head. I found it on B&H Photo for $114.00. I think it’s a steal for the price. Just thought I would pass this on since I kept looking for something without wanting to spend a bunch of money.
