New Smart Phone- suggestions needed

I am getting ready to get a new cell phone and I am planning on getting a ballistic calculator app for it. What phone would you recommend going with, that has the best apps, for shooting software? I have a Mac computer and use Verizon Wireless (they just came out with Iphone). The main two phones I am looking at are iphone and Droid. I have used the Blackberries in the past and would go back to them but no good apps available that i can find. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't buy the iPhone on Verizon yet!
1)It won't work with Verizon's new 4g network they are starting to roll out.
2)Apple will be releasing a new model iPhone in a couple of months.

Stay away from the HTC HD2. It has been the biggest POS we tried. They replaced it 2 twice already, and it still shuts off randomly, calls don't always ring & instead go straight to voice mail, dropped calls, IE on the phone doesn't work worth a crap on websites that require IE. That and a host of other problems.

I have the droid, and a popular app which isnt even close to my real ballistics. Other bad thing about droid is if you use it, ur luck if you get one day of battery life. I bought an inexpensive pda and expensive exball/nightforce app. The pda will last weeks on one charge, and the exball app is dead on. Very slight difference between that and JBM, with a very small tweak your spot on.
