New Sightron SIII scopes WHEN?

Saw the bulletin on these new Sightron scopes. They look perfect for my application. Any idea when they will be released?

Any idea when you will have samples for review/testing?

If you need a tester, I am more then willing to help out.

Jerry i've had one on order since feb and still no word on it. I ordered it thru optics planet and just sent an email asking if they can find out when it will be in stock. If i get an answer i will post it here. Mine is the Sightron SIII 30mm 8-32x56mm Side Focus Riflescope.

There is supposed to be a shipment arriving the first week of May. We are waiting on our testing samples also.

The 8-32 I looked through at Shot Show was really good. A LOT better than a Leupold 8-25 IMHO. Very bright, very clear, very sharp.

called sightron today and they said the 8x32's should be in the first week of May. told me there should be a shipment every 2 weeks or so after that. only bad news was they said there would only be about 50 of the 8x32's in each shipment. this was as of about 9:30 this morning.

p.s. they also said the new SIII is much better than the SI or SII in clarity and adjustments.

man i need a new scope and i been considering a sIII 2.5-10x56 and 30mm tube i just need to know if can fit my ruger m77-17 and what kind of rings are need it if enyone know plz let me know .

i have had a sightron in the past and it seemed like a decent scope for the money. "new guy here" is anyone using them in comp?

I have a 6x24x42 sightron & I can see 6mm bullet holes on white paper at 500 yds,& I can see about the same with my 36x leupold. I'd buy a sightron again. The repeatability is excellent. I'd like to get a 36x sightron. I did win with the 6x24 sightron in a local competition.

just checked mine shipped today from optics planet. hope to have it first of the week and will try to put it thru it's paces asap and report back.

i'll have mine this tuesday or wensday from lock stock and barrel, cant wait. I'll let you guys know how they perform since the s3 is using better glass and is redesigned compared to the older model s3's
