So I was pretty bored this mourning while I was waiting for the coffee and decided to mess around and make a set of short shooting stiks for shooting prone or in goofy positions. I like shooting off a bipod, but the kind of country we are forced to cover around here for deer and elk doesn't always lend itself to the added weight of a gun mounted bipod-besides the fact I find them troublesome to get set up for a shot in rougher terrain so I made these up...let me know what you think?
Now I know they are not sand bags, and I will often rest on my back pack for longer shots, but the more I mess with these little guys the more I find them usefull. Just thought I would share the effects of boredom and spring weather here in MT.
