New S&B on the 7-300

Picked up an S&B PMII 5-25x P4F for the 7-300 Win Mag and just got her zeroed at 300 yards this afternoon. Took 1 shot at 100 yards, adjusted the scope to bullet hole, then went another 3" high so it'd get me close to my 300y zero. Took the next 4 shots at 300 yards and got a 1/2 MOA group 3/4" above center. Came down 1 click and set my zero. Total of 5 shots fired from a fresh mounted scope to a verified 300y zero. Man I love this rifle and scope. It's just a shooter! Got a cow hunt coming up in 2 weeks and this should do the trick!

What a fantastic combo! I assume that is a McMillan A5? I also have a Rem 700 in a McMillan A5, also topped with an S&B too... Mine is in 6.5 PRC though. Otherwise wouldn't change a thing.

Even though the S&B 5-25 is an older scope and has some optical compromises, the resolution and reliability is outstanding.
