New Rem 700 XCR, in 7-08.

Have now in my collection a Rem 700 XCR in 7-08. One in nine and a quarter twist. Besides the stock and trigger what kind of mods do you like to make to your Rem 700 hunting rifles?

No opinion on what else to do, but am curious what you think of the adjustable X-mark trigger.

Shoot it first, work up loads with 140gr sierra sbt or nosler bt at around 2875-2900 in a 24" bbl, varget, 4064, 4350 work well, if need be be sure bbl free of contact, if it shoot 1/2-5/8 and that is ok with you and for hunting it should be, leave it alone.

to trick it out have a knowledgable smith true the action, check crown, lap bolt, lap bbl if needed, and run in a 7-08 Ackley reamer.
